Trip to Krakow && Auschwitz

Hey hey. Imagine yourself with 30 Erasmus guys, going by train to krakow and auschwitz. Damn fun! It was interesting to travel in a train, during the night, full of Polish ppl (specially Militars).
I do not advise you to try the trains in Poland..
Krakow is awesome!! Castles, old churches, nice sidewalks and lovely parks. Feeling the old history on every corner of the city is wonderfull. From what i've seen, kraków is a much nicer city that warsow, by far.
We made a really nice tour by bike (as you can see by one of the pictures), it was so nice, fast, ecologic and i think the best way to know a city like kraków.
One of the pictures is from the Schindler's Factory (remember the movie Schindler's List?) that we were able to visit in our trip.
A place i recommend to everyone who likes history and cultural sightseeing.
A trip to repeat, one day. with more time.

Auschwitz is a quiet place, with loads of green around you. It's even hard to imagine it happened there the biggest extermination of jewish ppl. 1.5 million were killed there. The museum shows a lot of impressive things, like the hair of those that would be killed in gas chambers (they kept it for further use in manufacture of carpets and other things), shoes, bags, everything you can imagine. I didn't like the museum, i think they exploit to much the suffering of those who passed through that horrible place. For me the most important was to see the place, the buildings, the conditions and everything.
A trip not to repeat, i've seen enough.

Cya around everyone. (next post: Trip to Praga and Budapeste) :)
